Applies to vehicles: with climate-controlled cup holder
The cup holder on the driver's side keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.
To keep the drink cold, press the button -B- Fig. 1. The blue diode in the button will light up.
To keep the drink hot, press the button -C-. The red diode in the button will light up.
To switch between these two options, press the corresponding button.
To switch off the cooling/heating function, press the button -B-/-C-. The diode in the button will go out.
During cooling the plate in the cup holder reaches a temperature of approx. 5 °C. When heating, it reaches a temperature of approx. 58 °C. From a temperature of approx. 40 °C, the residual heat indicator -A- lights up to remind you not to touch the plate when it is hot. The indicator will go off when the temperature of the plate drops below this value.
WARNING!
- Never touch the plate in the cup holder when the residual heat indicator lights up - risk of burns!
- Do not use hard china cups or glasses. These could cause injury in the event of an accident.
Caution!
You should avoid putting open drinks containers in the cup holder. The drinks could otherwise spill over and cause damage to e.g. the electrical equipment or the seat covers.
